Friday , 25th December

Ahhh ...

It's Christmas Once Again ...
iIi Just Adore Christmas Songs !!!

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT !!!

iIi spend my Christmas
visiting ,
going out
and
drinking
...

On Christmas Eve ,
together with
Alex , Joanna , Jeremy + his Aunt , Mum & Boyfriend
went over to Serangoon and had a wild start of Christmas Day ...
We were all covered with foams as everybody went around wishing each other Merry Christmas with a can of Foam Spray ...
iIi drinking didn't really enjoy much after the greetings ,
iIi guess iIi just wasn't feeling the atmosphere there ...

We walked all the way to Heartland Mall where Alex and iIi ate at Hong Kong Cafe while the rest went home ...
We couldn't finish our food so we just chilled for about an hour before walking home =)

Later that day ,
iIi headed over to my cousin's house ...
It seems to me like now of these days visiting isn't as fun as it used to be ...
iIi remembered always looking forward to Christmas or New Year so that I'll be able to spend time with my cousins but now ,
we've all grown up and things have changed ...

Now ,
iIi just go there for the FOOD !!!
And for some of my Dear cousins who I'm still tight with =D

Sunday , 27th December

Out With My Cousins =D

My cousin actually planned this and iIi was actually considering whether to tag along or not but I'm glad iIi did ...

My mum picked them after Church and dropped us off at Vivo City where we bought our tickets to " Alvin And The Chipmunks " ...

Followed by lunch ...

The food there wasn't exactly worth the price ...

But at least it filled our stomachs =)

We then went to the roof where we Cam-whored =X

Later we walked around before settling down to chat ...

We remembered receiving a mini chess set as a free gift and started playing =X
iIi Won Every Round XD

We then headed over to Sentosa where walked along the beach ,
had ice-cream and took a few pictures before heading back for the movie ...
We were nearly late as there won't any shuttle bus to bring us back from Siloso Beach back to the train ,
luckily we checked after waiting for about 20 mins !!!
SoOo we took our very own bus 11 -_-"

Made it in time for the movie ,
nothing much to say about it except that it was just another average movie ...

RISE !!!

After the movie ,
we took more pictures while waiting for my mum to pick us up ...

Went over to one of the coffee shop near my cousin's house where their mum joined us for a late dinner filled with laughs ...

Finally !!!
The last post of the " Back Track - - -> 2009' " =D

It's New Year Eve !!!

WEEEEEEEE ~~~

Joined my friends at a pub along Boat Quay ...

It seems that I've been drinking a lot lately ...
I've still yet to get drunk =P

So anyways ,
we opened a bottle of Martel (again) ...
Wanted to catch a movie after that but was asked to stay ...
Chill out for awhile before going opposite the Pub for a bite ,
luckily we did so cause the police arrived after we left ,
stopping right in front of the Pub where we were =X

There was a fight at another Pub ahead and there were like police every where -_-"
Walked over to the other side and bought a bottle of Vodka and continued drinking at another Pub which was closed ...
We drank most of it Neat and damn was it Rough ...
Anyways ,
wanted to flag a cab home but failed to stop one -_-"
We spent like an hour trying to get one and ended up taking the first train home ...
The MRT stations was like some Hot Spot for the homeless ,
when we got down there ,
iIi was applaud to see the station was filled with people standing and lying everywhere ...

Thursday , 19th November

it's been quite long since we last hung out ...
Met at Bugis where we ate ,

can't remember much of what we did except that we took

Went to get a hair cut on Saturday due to my upcoming Cadet Officer Course on Monday ...

Monday , 23rd Nov - 11th December

Cadet Officer Course !!!

3 Weeks ,
Damn ...

Waking up early during the holidays was really shitty plus the thought of going to HQ made it worst ...
The main highlights of the course was the -

Military Dinning In
&
Passing Out Parade

First day was totally boring ,
all those briefing and stuff ...

Spend the first half of the second day at Singapore Discovery Center and the next half around Town Area in No. 4 ...
How "Awesome" was THAT ???

My hair was still unacceptable !!!
Went to get my hair cut AGAIN T-T
It actually turned out great ,

Yes iIi Sacrificed a lot for this course ,
iIi had a choice and iIi made mine ...
Looking back ,
as always ,
after every camp iIi would go :
" It wasn't soo bad "

The thing that always gets to me is the sense of accomplishment and experiences gained no matter what camp/course iIi attend which made me strive on for more ,
even though I've never failed to enter one with a sort of hesitation =D

Well iIi did learn a lot of stuff which motivated me to participate way more
but It kinda DIED out at the end of the course HAHAS !!!

Monday , 21st - 22nd December

Celebration of Nelia's belated 17th birthday ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

Met up at Bugis where we ate and ate ...
Got burned a few times due to the hot popping butter -_-"

We didn't really do much after that as some had to work the next day ...
iIi went to check out Conrad Hotel which will be my new working place (yes , it's true , I'm actually working for real)
iIi actually didn't really want to but was dragged into it ...
Explored the place for awhile and then spent like $33 for the stupid taxi fare !!!
Should have went home earlier with the rest ...

Met up again the next following day at Orchard to collect my present from Clarice =D
Wahahas ...
Her Church was performing at Takashimaya so some of us went there to sort of support her in a way
while collecting our Christmas presents =P

Back Track - - -> 2009' : Part 3

Friday , 14th - 17th November : Perak Trip

So as mentioned in " Back Track - - -> 2009' (Part 2) " ,

iIi went to Malaysia with my school NCC mates for a 4 days 3 nights trip and we did a lot of stuffs which iIi never thought I'll ever get to do =D

We had to report to school at 0545 as the bus will leave at 0600 sharp so that we won't miss the flight to KL ...

That's me and Heede before boarding the bus to the Airport =)

It was about an hour flight to KL but when we got off the plane ,
there was a 3 hour bus ride awaiting us at the pick up point (which was rather far !!!)
to Perak ...

iIi didn't sleep the whole night as iIi was afraid iIi wouldn't be able to wake up on time
(by now my friends should know me well enough to applause to that decision)
and slept nearly 80% of the journey ...

The percentage would've been higher if we didn't had a couple of stops for toilet breaks , lunch and a little bit of shopping for snacks and drinks to bring back to the hotel =)

My Roomies : Heede & Joshua

The first thing me and my roommates , Joshua and Heede had was a PILLOW FIGHT !!!
wEeeEee ~~~
But the bed kinda sucked as there were wheels under without a lock thus it kept moving around ...
We played mini soccer due to the lack of space ,
fortunately we didn't break anything but made a lamp on the wall a little out of place ...
Oh well =P

The rest of the day was spend just slacking in the hotel ...
We went to the hotel's swimming pool where we played some stupid games among ourselves and even tried out Ping-pong (ooo-yaa !!!) ...

Went out for dinner later at some nearby restaurant ...

We went back to the hotel rooms ,
bathe ,
chat ,
feast on our snacks while watching a Horror film=D
iIi slept half way during the movie as I've already watched it plus the ending was kinda Suckish ...

- End Of Day 1 -

We woke up around 0600 and got ready to go down for breakfast ,
first thing iIi was told by Joshua and Heede was that the movie ending sucked ,
HAHAS !!!
Got blamed for not warning them as the movie ended late into the night =P

So our first activity of the day was Caving =)
It was an AWESOME experience and sight ...
Everything was so fascinating ,
it was really dark ,
even moving around from place to place was so exciting as we had to maneuver our way through and iIi was honestly really thankful for the helmets because without it ,
iIi would've ended up with bumps and bleeding wounds all over my head ...
The starting part of the cave had low ceilings and we had to crawl with our body submerged into the water to get to another point (how cool was that ???) ...

This part of the cave was just freaking huge and high ...
We climbed up to higher grounds where learned about the cave ,
it was time for all the :

It was BLOODY TIRING !!!
The stairs were freaking steep and long -_-"
iIi sincerely salute those who made those stairs ,
it must had taken damn long and a lot of freaking effort ...
*Applause* WOW !!!

Next ,
we went to an Orphanage to do some C.I.P =)
(even though it's not valid for some of us , sec 5s)

*Awwws*
Aren't we such Angels ???
Hahas !!!

The truth was that in order to be able to use our Edusave to pay for trip was to have some kind of educational benefits ...
SoOoOo ~~~
being the awesome teachers that they were ,
this part was added in =P

Some of us played soccer in the field there
while the rest had those entertainment games in the library ...
After a few goals ,
it started to drizzle and then rain ...
DAMN IT ,
my team was winning !!!
*Pfft* -_-" ...

We then went back to the library where the games were still being carried out and that left us pretty much bored

This is my friend Hock Ann who was surrounded but kids who was totally into the PSP he was playing ...
It was like a HORDE from " Left 4 Dead " ...
He probably threw a pipe bomb at he feet to lure the zombies to him and sacrifice his life for us ... ... ..

Later on the junior cadets did some cleaning around their classroom while we seniors watched ...
MuAhahas !!!
We ain't getting the CCA points anyway so ,
No Way ...
But still , we did the supervising =)
It's then time to head back to the hotel and get some rest ...

One of the best part about the trip to the Orphanage was the way there and back ...
We traveled on the lorry standing up ,
how often do you get to do that in Singapore ???
The route was too narrow for a bus and there were branches sticking out at the side on the way so we had fun dodging them while some were being SLAPPED over and over again ...
*OooOoo ... OUCHIES*

We got back and despite after all that we had during the day ,
Heede decided to hold a
Funky-Hairdo Party !!!
HAHAH ...
We made invitation cards and slide them under the doors and the process was some what
super stupid and funny =)

The theme then changed since it wasn't exactly much stuff to do and it became a
SHIRTLESS PARTY !!!
We had some games which requires us to do stupid stuffs ,
pictures will not be posted here due to some EXPLICIT content ...
Hehehe ...
We then dug into the snacks which we dropped by the shopping mart again to restock =)

We ended the day by watching a movie to sleep

It's Day 3 !!!

Among all ,
iIi enjoyed this the best but some how along the way gain a little phobia due to what happened during the activity ...

WET-WATER RAFTING !!!
~~~ Woooh ~~~

We rode down a river with multiple rapids along the way and it really was exciting !!!
They warned us that the raft may capsize along the rapid but iIi never thought that we actually would ...
We went through the first rapid successfully and then ,
the next one THREW three of us on the right OFF the raft !!!
We were told by the lucky ones that it was super EPIC ...
Our legs were synced when we were thrown overboard ,
it was like watching those Dancing Queens in Vegas standing in a row lifting ,
their legs high up with PERFECT angles ...
HAHAHAHAHS !!!
The feeling of floating in mid-air for a few seconds before landing into the river was
Super !!!

We managed not to get tossed out during the next few rapids but INTENTIONALLY
did so out of boredom as there weren't any rapids left ...

Alright ,
now about the phobia part ...
The instructor allowed us to take his position and control the raft ,
Heede did so and within seconds of being in command ,
he led the boat into a rock and the three of us on the right flew out again ...
Only this time ,
the water was shallow and the current of the river was SUPER STRONG ...
So strong that if you weren't in the right position ,
you couldn't stand up at all ...

iIi got dragged along the river bed for about a few meters and
F*CK it Ef-fing HURTS !!!
It was so painful iIi nearly cried !!!
iIi couldn't even scream as iIi was being pulled along and was really really DESPERATE to get out of the water ...

The Thought Of Dying Was Honestly There ...

Finally went iIi got closed enough ,
iIi used every ounce of strength to leap into the raft ,
that was something iIi really x() never want to experience again ...
It left me breathless for like 10mins ...

Anyways ,
iIi apologize for not having better pictures as we left the cameras back at the truck in order not to get them wet ...

Okay so we've finally come to the last activity ,

THE HIGH ELEMENT ROPES COURSE !!!

This course was built among the trees which made them
super cool and scary at the same time ...
What would happen if the tree wasn't as strong as before due to the years ???
For all you know they trunk might be rotting =(
Plus what made things even more exciting was that our safety literally lies on our own hands ...
There are life lines attached above our heads which requires us to hook and unhook as we go along the course ...
iIi know this way ,
it teaches us responsibility but what if ... ... ... ???

Putting that aside ,
what really bugged me about the course was that it was infested with

BIG

FAT

RED

ANTS

!!!

DAAAAAAAMMMMMMNNNNNNNN !!!

A lot of them were in the life line so it tends to drop on us while we were trying to complete the course -_-"
WeeEee ~~~

Other then that ,
the course was rather challenging and fun ...
Tiring ,
Yes ,
But Worth It ...
A sense of accomplishment would naturally fill your soul when you're done =D

Ohs and Errr ,
the only way down is to reach the last station which would be the
Flying Fox =)

Unless maybe you're like still half way through the 1st station
only then maybe you could do a U-turn if you don't mind being embarrassed =P

Alrights ,
there's nothing much to add on
since this is the end of our planned activities and
we're heading for home the next day ...

So I'll just end of with this
